Our company history
1948- The Litter Distributing Company was established and represented Bavarian Beer, Schoenling Brewing Company, and Hudepohl Brewing Company products.
1955 - Pabst Blue Ribbon franchise was purchased.
1966 - Anheuser-Busch Brands were purchased from Fred Millies. Wines of Gallo and other producers were included in the purchase and added to our wine portfolio.
1967 - A Warehouse of 12,500 sq. ft. was constructed at the rear of 524 Eastern Avenue to house the Beer and Wine operations of Litter Distributing Co.
1975 - Purchase of Mt. Pleasant Distributing Company, Baltimore, Ohio. Pabst Blue Ribbon and Blatz Beers.
1984 - Purchase of Jax Distributing, Athens, Ohio. Rolling Rock & Carling Black Lable Beers.
1988 - Purchased Streitenberger Distributing Co, 824 Eastern Ave. Schoenling & Black Lable Beers. Purchase of Marchi Distributing Company, Gallipolis, Ohio. Wine & Beer portfolio.
1993 - Built a new Anheuser-Busch 25,000 square foot warehouse and office building on Hospital Road in Chillicothe.
1994 - Purchased Anheuser-Busch territory from Pico Distributing in South East Ohio and built Anheuser-Busch 25,000 square foot warehouse and office building in Albany, Ohio. Divested all other beers and wines to focus entirely on Anheuser-Busch products.
1999 - Purchased additional acreage from Adena Regional Medical Center for the Expansion of the Anheuser-Busch Classic Brands warehouse in Chillicothe and added 15,000 square feet.
2002 - Purchased Anheuser-Busch Jackson Distributing Company from the Riepenhoff family, consolidated territory into Chillicothe and Albany operations.
2012 - Completed 15,000 square foot addition in the spring of 2012.
